Internships are an integral part of both the undergraduate and graduate experience at the RTIP. Each year qualified students complete internships in the United States and abroad with race tracks, farms, trainers and racing-related organizations. Internships provide RTIP students with unique opportunities to put their classroom knowledge to practical use, thereby enhancing the educational experience and making them better prepared to assume responsible positions after graduation.

International internships have included: Asociacion Mexicana Cuarto de Milla (Mexico), El Comandante (Puerto Rico), Hastings Park (Canada), Irish National Stud (Ireland), Irish Turf Club, National Coursing Association (Australia), Societe d’ Encouragement (France) and Victoria Racing Club (Australia).
